Yamaha R15 V4 Price Hiked, Now INR 3,000 Expensive

Yamaha has announced that the new YZF R15 V4 will be dearer by INR 3,000 in the Indian market. Therefore, the motorcycle’s price now starts at INR 1,70,800 ex-showroom. This is the first time Yamaha is hiking the price of the R15 V4, since its launch in September 2021. The Yamaha R15 has been one of the top-selling bikes in the country and attracts a large crowd. The latest generation motorcycle looks much more aggressive with enhanced aerodynamic bodywork a host of electronic riding features for the track and the road. Yamaha sells the R15 V4 bike through its digital and physical sales channels in India.

Yamaha R15 V4 – Latest Price List

The new Yamaha R15 V4 is available in four colour options. The entry-level Metallic Red comes with a retail price tag of INR 1,70,800 ex-showroom. The Dark Knight colour options come with a sticker price of INR 1,71,800 ex-showroom. The Racing Blue colour option is offered at INR 1,75,800 ex-showroom and Metallic Grey retails at 1,80,000 ex-showroom. The brand also offers a special edition Monster Energy MotoGP livery that costs INR 1,82,800 ex-showroom.

Yamaha R15 V4 – Technical Specifications

Powering the Yamaha R15 V4 is a 155cc single-cylinder engine with liquid cooling. The compact LC4V motor is capable of producing 18.1 Bhp of power and 14.2 Nm of torque. The engine comes with Variable Valve Actuation technology that offers a balance between efficiency and performance. The motorcycle comes with a 6-speed gearbox which on Version 4 also gets a quickshifter and a slipper and assist clutch. The motorcycle rides on upside-down front forks, a delta box frame and an aluminium swingarm. Braking power comes from disc brakes on both the front and rear.
