Kawasaki has introduced the new 2022 model year Ninja ZX-10R in the international market. The brand offers the new MY22 model with only a new colour option. Other details such as the features, engine and running gear, all remain the same. Kawasaki will sell the Ninja ZX10-R bike with a price tag of USD 17,199 for the Non-ABS and 18,199 for the ABS model, in the USA. Compared to the MY2021, the new model is approximately USD 800 more expensive. Kawasaki in India sells the bike online from its official website at the price of INR 15.14 lakh ex-showroom.
MY2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R – New Colours
Kawasaki has introduced a new colour on the Ninja ZX-10R in the USA. The new colour – Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray/Metallic Diablo Black features a combination of gloss and matte. The bike comes with a gloss black headlight fairing, gloss black fuel tank and gloss black tail section. Matte grey body parts complement the gloss black features including the nose underside, the side fairings and the tail cowling. The matte grey bodywork also comes with red accents, red rim tape on the black alloy wheels, and a red finish front suspension piggyback. In the Indian market, Kawasaki still retails the Lime Green KRT Edition and the Flat Ebony Type 2 colour options.

MY2022 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R – Technical Specifications
Powering the MY22 Kawasaki ZX-10R is a 998cc in-line four-cylinder engine. The DOHC engine features 47mm Mikuni throttle bodies with oval sub-throttles and liquid cooling. The motor produces around 213 PS of power and 114.9 Nm of torque. The engine comes with 6-speed, return shift transmission and features such as Electronic Cruise Control, Kawasaki Launch Control Mode (KLCM), Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System (KIBS), Kawasaki Sport Traction Control (S-KTRC), Kawasaki Engine Braking Control, Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS) (upshift & downshift), Kawasaki Corner Management Function (KCMF). The bike rides on 43mm inverted Balance Free Fork (BFF) suspension on the front and a Horizontal back-link with Balance Free gas-charged shock on the rear.
