MY22 Kawasaki Vulcan S Gets New Colour & Graphics

Kawasaki has introduced the new MY22 Kawasaki Vulcan S in the Indian market. The cruiser motorcycle comes with a new colour theme – Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey. Apart from the new colour, the engine and running gear on the new Kawasaki Vulcan S remains the same. In the international market, the brand also introduced the same Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey theme. But, customers abroad also get to choose from Metallic Flat Spark Black and Candy Crimson Red colour options. In India, the Vulcan S is only available in a single, above-mentioned colour option.

MY22 Kawasaki Vulcan S – Colour Theme

The Kawasaki Vulcan S in the Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey comes with a dark grey theme. The bike gets graphene grey graphics and Green highlights, providing a stealthy look. The motorcycle also features black finish alloy wheels with green rim tapes. The Metallic Flat Sparkle Black colour features a black tank and black front and rear fenders in the international market. The Crimson Red colour option comes with a candy red tank and candy red front and rear fenders. 

MY 22 Kawasaki Vulcan S – Design and Features

The Kawasaki Vulcan features an upside-down triangle headlamp and headlight shrouds. The bike also comes with a teardrop shape fuel tank and scooped seat for the rider. The cruiser comes with a short front fender and a full rear fender. Kawasaki also offers its ERGO-FIT sizing system with the Vulcan S, enabling the rider to customise the seat height, the handlebar reach and the footpeg position. The cruiser motorcycle also comes with features such as a semi-digital dashboard with an economical riding indicator, an under-engine muffler and ABS for safety.

MY22 Kawasaki Vulcan S – Technical Specifications

Powering the Vulcan S is a BS6 compliant 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin cylinder engine. The engine produces 61 PS of power and 62.4 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed transmission. The venerable engine also does duty on other Kawasaki bikes in India, such as the Ninja 650, Z650 and Versys 650, in different states of tune.
