MY22 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S & ST Cruiser Motorcycles Revealed

Harley-Davidson has introduced the 2022 Model Year Low Rider S in the international market. Alongside the Low Rider S, the American motorcycle manufacturer has also revealed the all-new Low Rider ST in the international market. The new motorcycle in the portfolio is based on the Low Rider S, which was also in the Harley-Davidson India portfolio. For 2022 the brand has only made a few changes. These include a new mounted instrument cluster on the handlebar and now misses out on the cleaner look of the tank-mounted instruments. The brand has also made some changes in the mechanical department. The motorcycle now gets a Milwaukee 117 engine, replacing the previous 114 units.

Harley-Davidson Low Rider S and Low Rider ST

The Harley-Davidson Low Rider S and the Low Rider ST share the Milwaukee 117 engine. The air-cooled V-Twin engine comes with electronic fuel injection and a 6-speed gearbox unit. The engine produces 104 Bhp of power and 170 Nm of torque.

The Low Rider ST features bagger-like styling with a batwing fairing. The ST also comes with a pair of hard-case panniers and differentiates itself from the S trim using the aerodynamically-designed frame-mounted fairing and dual lockable hard-case saddlebags. Both motorcycles come with a semi-digital instruments cluster or an LCD on the ST. The bike also comes with dual-channel ABS and a USB charging port. The Low Rider S and ST ride on 43mm inverted single-cartridge forks on the front and a mono-shock unit with preload adjustment on the rear end.

The Harley-Davidson Low Rider S and Low Rider ST are likely to arrive in the Indian market by mid-2022. The motorcycles will lock horns with the Indian Chief Dark Horse.
