Let us salute the country’s Superheroes – The Doctors

Medicine saves lives, but Doctors cure the patients. Carl Jung once uttered this famous phrase. The profession of a Doctor is a commitment to save a life. The kindness, motivation, and never-giving-up attitude of doctors make every possible way to cure life. The doctors give mental and medical support to the patients to stay strong even in the most challenging times.

On this National Doctor’s Day, CredR shows immense Gratitude and is much obliged to the positive attitude of Doctors in saving so many lives. Especially when COVID hits the countries, the Doctors and the nurses work tirelessly to make sure the patients are outliving their current situation. The contributions of the doctors are phenomenal.

Historical Importance of National Doctor’s Day

The first day observed as a Doctor’s Day was in the year 1991. It was done in honour of the former Bengal’s Chief Minister, DR. BC Roy. The motive was to recognize & contribute to serving humanity. Dr. BC Roy was born on the 1st July 1882 and died on the same date, 1962. He was honoured with Bharat Ratna in 1961 and remembered for this eccentric contribution to the medical field.

Significance of National Doctor’s Day

Doctors use their magical powers to treat life and bring back good health when all the hope is lost. A doctor is bestowed to see and treat weaknesses that prevail in humanity.  On this National Doctor’s Day, we can pay heed to the medical doctor’s role and responsibilities to serve more lives.

This pandemic has once again reminded us about the extensive contributions & sacrifices that doctors and healthcare specialists have made across the globe.
