Honda Sold 4,32,207 2Wheelers in India in October 2021

Honda 2Wheelers India has recorded a total sales of 4,32,207 units for October 2021. This combines 3,94,623 units of domestic sales and 37,584 units sales in exports. In October 2020, Honda 2Wheelers also revealed that the brand exported 32,721 units. This translates to a growth of 15 per cent for this month. The festive season is also helping the brand propel sales figures, and revive the businesses since the onset of the pandemic. Honda October 2021 Highlights

Honda announced that the brand will be bringing the new swappable battery technology to the Indian market. The brand will employ the battery sharing service on electric three-wheelers, which will be used for passenger commute and as a goods carrier. The new battery sharing service will help build a robust charging infrastructure in the country. Honda revealed that the company plans to introduce this service in the 1st half of 2022. The new swappable battery will be called the Honda Mobile Power Pack e:. For the festive season, Honda also introduced two new campaigns. ‘Aap aur Activa – India Ke Do Pahiye’ and “Kamaal Per Litre”. These campaigns will help generate sales for Activa and CD110 Dream Deluxe, respectively.

Honda opens the premium BigWing showroom in two new locations. These locations are Aluva, Mangalore (Karnataka) and Worli, Mumbai (Maharashtra). The Honda BigWing outlets offer the customers a more enhanced experience for the premium offerings of the brand.

In the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship, Honda showed some great results. In the PS165cc class, Rajiv Sethu grabbed the podium finish for the IDEMITSU Honda SK69 Racing team. Meanwhile, Senthil Kumar and Mathana Kumar gained some valuable points. In MotoGP, Repsol Honda Team, led by Marc Marquez, won round 15 and round 16. The Monster Energy Team, led by Pablo Quintanilla won the title on the final day of Round WORLD4, Rallye du Maroc 2021.
