Hero MotoCorp Retails 5,47,970 Two-Wheelers in October 2021

Hero MotoCorp the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer sold a total of 5,47,970 units for the month of October 2021. Compared to September 2021 the sales show a positive trend, as the brand sold 530,346 units in September 2021. The company reveals that the festive season is one of the major factors for the rising demand for sales in India. Hero is also positive that the brand will continue to sell bikes till the end of this year. The increase in vaccination drive and the opening up of businesses this year is also providing a boost in sales.

Hero MotoCorp Sales Analysis

Hero MotoCorp revealed that the brand posted a total sales of 5,05,957 for October 2021 in the motorcycle segment. Compared to the same period last year the brand sold 7,32,498 units. In the scooter segment, Hero MotoCorp sold a total of 42,013 units in October 2021, against 74,350 units for the corresponding month last year. The total domestic salesstood as 5,27,779 units in October 2021. Meanwhile, the figure stood at 7,91,127 units in October 2020. The brand also registered 20,191 units in exports in October 2021 which is up from 15,711 units for the same period last year.

Recently Hero MotoCorp introduces two new products in the motorcycle segment. The Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition and XPulse 200 4 Valve. Hero also introduced the new Pleasure+ XTec with the latest tech. The brand also expanded its reach to the UAE market by inaugurating its exclusive dealership in Dubai reaching new heights.

The brand has also announced unique welfare programs in Haryana, Uttarakhand and Rajasthan. The new drive aims to support women from the affected families with livelihood opportunities. The brand will also provide education for their children and access to food and nutrition. Hero MotoCorp also plans to enter the EV segment by next year.
