Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse Launched in India

Ducati has announced the launch of the latest limited-edition Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse in the Indian market. the Italian brand has put a sticker price of INR 10,99,000 lakh ex-showroom on the new Ducati Scrambler DDesert Sled in India. The special edition motorcycle pays homage to the collaboration between the Ducati ‘Scrambler’ series and the American clothing brand, ‘Fasthouse.’ Last year rider Jordan Graham took victory with the Scrambler in the Hooligan class of the ‘Mint 400.’ For the uninitiated, the ‘Mint 400’ is one of the oldest and coveted off-road races held in America.

2021 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse – Design and Colour 

The Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse comes with a new black and grey combination. The bike features geometric livery on the fuel tank and gets Scrambler and Fasthouse logos. Ducati is reproducing the design used on bikes that competed in the Mint 400 with this colour scheme paying homage to the race. The brand also revealed that the motorcycle will be limited to just 800 units. And the limited edition bike will feature an aluminium plate on the frame that showcases the unique serial number.

Along with this, the Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse will come with a new seat with an anti-slip cover. The bike also features a ‘Ducati Red’ coloured steel tube trellis frame. Ducati has equipped the Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse with 19-inch black spoked wheels on the front and 17-inches at the rear. The bike also comes with a high-mount front mudguard, extended rear fender, and a variable cross-section handlebar.

2021 Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse – Technical Specifications 

Powering the limited-edition Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse is an 803cc, L-twin engine. The engine produces 73 PS of power and 66.2 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed transmission. Ducati offers the bike a customizable riding position enhancing its ergonomics. Along with this the bike also features a commanding seat height of 860mm. The Scrambler also comes with knobby Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres for the off-road performance.

The bike features 46mm fully-adjustable front forks and the rear aluminium double-sided swingarm monoshock suspension. The suspension offers 200mm of wheel travel. Ducati offers the bike with a 330mm front brake disc, a four-piston radial calliper. The bike features a 245mm rear brake disc with a single-piston floating calliper and dual-channel Bosch Cornering ABS as standard.
