Ducati Panigale V4 SP Launched in India

Ducati has launched the new Panigale V4 SP superbike in the Indian market with a price tag of INR 36.07 lakh ex-showroom. The new Ducati Panigale V4 SP comes with the ‘SP’ suffix which is short for Sport Production. The Sport Production made its debut on the Ducati 851. The brand has announced that the bookings for the new Panigale V4 SP are now open in 9 major metro cities of India. Ducati will sell the bike through its dealerships in India with deliveries starting immediately. The cities include Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata, and Chennai.

2021 Ducati Panigale V4 SP – Design

The Ducati Panigale V4 SP comes with a unique “Winter Test” livery inspired by the Ducati Corse bikes. The Italian brand used the Winter Test bike livery in pre-season testing of the MotoGP and SBK championship series. The Panigale V4 SP features a matt black colour scheme on the fairings, rims, and wings. The motorcycle also gets an exposed aluminium fuel tank with bright red accents. The Panigale V4 SP comes with a sharp and aerodynamic nose along with a bubble style visor and headlamp recessed into the fascia. The bike also gets a muscular fuel tank and side fairings with aero winglets to improve the downforce. The Panigale V4 SP comes with a high tail and low nose design language offering an aggressive stance. The bike comes with a slender tail section, a single-sided swingarm and an underbelly exhaust system.

2021 Ducati Panigale V4 SP – Technical Specifications 

Powering the Ducati Panigale V4 SP is a 1103cc, Desmosedici Stradale, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine. The engine produces 215 PS of power and 124 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox and hydraulically controlled slipper dry clutch. The brand also offers Ducati Quick Shift technology for smoother gear shifts. The Panigale V4 SP comes with an aluminium alloy “Front Frame” chassis that rides on a 43mm fully-adjustable Ohlins NIX30 front fork suspension. The bike also features an aluminium single-sided swingarm with a fully-adjustable Ohlins TTX36 suspension on the rear.

Ducati offers the Panigale V4 Sp with 5-spoke, 17-inch carbon wheels. The wheels are 1.4 Kg lighter than forged aluminium wheels helping reduce the rolling inertia. Braking power comes from dual 330mm front brake discs with 4-piston Brembo callipers and Bosch Cornering ABS for braking performance. The bike also gets a single 245mm brake disc with a 2-piston calliper and Bosch Cornering ABS.
