Ampere Electric Launches Magnus EX at INR 68,999

Electric mobility solution company under Greaves Electric Mobility, Ampere Electric, has launched a new electric scooter in India. According to the brand, the Ampere Magnus EX is a new family-oriented e-scooter that prioritizes comfort and performance. In addition to this, the electric scooter also offers improved and innovative features. The Ampere Electric Magnus EX comes with a sticker price of INR 68,999 ex-showroom Pune. Ampere offers the Magnus EX with three colour options – Metallic Red, Graphite Black, and Galactic Grey. Furthermore, the Ampere Magnus EX will come with various state and central government subsidies under the Fame II scheme and is eligible for discounts. This makes the scooter a perfect buy for the festive season.

Ampere Magnus EX Electric Scooter – Design and Features

The Ampere Magnus EX electric scooter comes with an aerodynamic front apron accented by chrome garnish. The scooter also comes with an LED headlamp with a chrome embellishment on top. This gives the e-scooter a premium look and appeal. The scooter also comes with beige seat upholstery and black inner panels. The Magnus EX comes with a slanted cradle design which offers ample storage space for its battery. The scooter also gets features such as 450mm of legroom space. The Magnus EX also comes with a unique footrest and solid grab handles for pillion safety and comfort.

Ampere Magnus EX Electric Scooter – Technical Specifications

Powering the Magnus EX is a 1200 W hub-mounted electric motor. The 60V electric architecture features a 38.25Ah Lithium-ion battery. This enables the e-scooter to sprint from 0-40 kmph time in just 10 seconds and is able to achieve an optimum driving speed of 53 kmph. The brand offers the e-scooter with two riding modes – Eco mode and Power mode. The Magnus EX can also return a range of 121 km per charge in the super saver eco mode. Customers can also detach the lithium-ion battery and charge via any 5-amp socket at the home, office, coffee shop, or any wall-plug charge point. The battery requires 6-7 hours for a full charge and less than 4 or 5 hours to achieve 70% for everyday use.
